So the same application runs on Meta Quest today and on your own hardware when you need it. You build the hardware. There is no Unity, Unreal, or vendor engine beneath it, so we can quickly create a custom version that runs on your headset, hand-held, or vehicle-mounted display. 01Renderer

An open-source renderer for AR interfaces to advanced systems

ViroReact is the MIT-licensed renderer at the base of the stack. Use it to build AR interfaces that sit over complex equipment, vehicles, and systems: overlays that explain what an operator is looking at, procedures anchored to the hardware in front of them, and live data rendered in place. Your engineers write it in TypeScript and React Native. There is no licence fee, no runtime fee, and nothing you cannot read.

The ViroReact MCP server gives AI coding agents current ViroReact knowledge and six validation tools: it runs scenes in a real renderer, checks them against the real component APIs, diagnoses crash logs, checks 3D models against performance budgets, compares renders, and converts between Studio and code. Deploy it inside your environment and your own secure AI agents get all of it, with no prompt, scene, or asset leaving your network.

Can ReactVision run entirely inside a closed network?
Yes. ReactVision Platform, ReactVision Studio, and the ViroReact MCP server deploy on your own hardware inside your network, and the ViroReact renderer runs natively on the device. Once deployed, no request needs to leave your environment.
Which parts of ReactVision are open source?
The ViroReact renderer is open source under the MIT licence, with the full source on GitHub. ReactVision Platform, ReactVision Studio, and the ViroReact MCP server are commercial products that deploy on-premises for defence customers.
Can the renderer run on hardware ReactVision has not shipped on before?
Yes. ReactVision builds the native rendering engine and every layer above it, so we can port the renderer to custom headsets, hand-helds, and vehicle-mounted displays. Ports are scoped with your hardware team as part of an engagement, and your developers keep using the same ViroReact tooling and codebase.
Does building with ReactVision lock us into Meta Quest or another hardware vendor?
No. The same ViroReact codebase deploys to iOS, Android, and Meta Quest today, and ViroCore, the native engine underneath ViroReact, is built by ReactVision with no third-party engine beneath it. If you want to run on your own hardware, ReactVision creates a custom build for that device and your application moves across without a re-write. That port also brings the developer tools and infrastructure to your device: ViroReact and the MCP server, Studio, and Platform anchors, colocation, and asset hosting. You build the hardware, ReactVision brings the end to end development platform.
Do Cloud Anchors and Geospatial Anchors work without the public internet?
Yes, when ReactVision Platform is deployed on your servers. Cloud Anchors, Geospatial Anchors, and multi-user colocation resolve against your own infrastructure rather than the managed ReactVision cloud.
What does the MCP server do when it runs inside our environment?
It gives your own AI coding agents accurate, current ViroReact knowledge and six validation tools: scene execution in a real renderer, structural scene checks, error and crash log diagnosis, performance budget checks, render comparison, and conversion between ReactVision Studio scenes and ViroReact code. Because it runs on your servers, prompts, scenes, and assets stay inside your network.
Do we need specialist XR engineers?
No. ViroReact is a React Native library, so developers who know TypeScript build AR and VR interfaces with the tools they already use. Subject matter experts can also build scenes visually in ReactVision Studio.
How is an on-premises deployment priced?
