Getting Started with Cloud Anchors in AR

Cloud Anchors let multiple devices see the same AR content in the same real-world spot. This guide covers what they are, when to use them, and how to build your first shared AR experience with ViroReact and ReactVision Platform.

Asset Generation Now Available on the ViroReact MCP Server

We've now added Studio's asset generation capabilities to the ViroReact MCP Server. Your agent can generate images and 3D models in the same session it writes your code.

Closing the Loop: Your Coding Agent Can Now Test XR in Real Rooms, No Device Needed

Environment testing on the ViroReact MCP Server lets your AI coding agent render and test AR scenes inside a real room, with no device needed. Record the space in StudioGo, store it on the ReactVision Platform, and test the same ViroReact code across as many rooms as you like.

The ViroReact MCP Server Is Now in the Claude Connectors Directory

The ViroReact MCP Server is now listed in Claude's official Connectors Directory. Your agent gets the real ViroReact knowledge base, validation tools to check the code it writes, and scene execution to prove that code renders. All you need is a free Studio account.

Your Coding Agent Can Now Run ViroReact Scenes, Not Just Write Them

Your agent already writes ViroReact code against the real API rather than a half-remembered version of it. Six new tools in the ViroReact MCP Server let it check and run that code too, so you review work that has already been tested instead of discovering the obvious failures yourself.

Mixed Reality and Object Detection on Meta Quest: ViroReact 2.57.2

Hot off the heels of last week’s 2.57.0 update, today we shipped ViroReact 2.57.2, and it is the release that closes the distance between mobile AR and the headset.

ViroReactChangelog

ViroReact 2.57.0: On-Device Object Detection and Expo 56 Support

ViroReact 2.57.0 gives your AR app something it could not do before: recognise objects in the camera feed, on the device, with no cloud round trip.
