Free online GLB viewer

Open a .glb file in your browser in seconds, with PBR lighting, animations and model stats. Free, no sign-up, and your file is never uploaded.

What is a GLB viewer?

A GLB viewer opens .glb files, the binary form of glTF 2.0 that packs a model's geometry, materials, textures and animations into one file. The ReactVision GLB viewer opens a .glb directly in your browser so you can rotate, zoom, play its animations and check its triangle count, with nothing to install and nothing uploaded.

How to open a GLB file online

  1. Step 1

    Choose your model

Drag a .glb file, or a .gltf with its .bin and textures, onto the viewer, or click it to browse your files.

  2. Step 2

    Inspect it

Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, play its animations, and check the triangle, mesh and material counts.

  3. Step 3

See it in the real world

Create a free ReactVision account to render the model in real environments, then ship it in AR or VR.

GLB vs glTF: which file do you have?

Both are glTF 2.0, the open standard for real-time 3D. The difference is packaging, and this viewer opens either.

A 3D viewer built on a real XR engine

Most online viewers are built on a web-only library. This one runs the Viro web renderer, the same engine ViroReact uses to render natively on phones and headsets, so what you see here is a preview of how the model behaves in a ReactVision app.

Private by design

Your model opens in your browser and never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or shared.

PBR lighting

Physically based materials, image-based lighting and tone mapping, so metals, roughness and colour read the way they will in an app.

Orbit, zoom, animate

Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom. Embedded animations play automatically, and you can switch between them.

Model stats at a glance

See file size, triangle count, meshes and materials, a quick check before a model goes into a mobile or headset app.

GLB and glTF 2.0

Open a single .glb, or a .gltf with its .bin and texture files selected together.

The same engine as your app

Rendered by the Viro web renderer, the engine ViroReact runs natively on iOS, Android, Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro, compiled to WebAssembly.

From a model on screen to a model in the room

Viewing is the first step. With a free ReactVision account you can render the model into real environments, place it in AR, and ship it in a native app.

In the Editor

Import the model into the browser-based ReactVision Editor, test it in real environments, add interactions and anchors, and preview it on your phone with StudioGo.

With your coding agent

Connect the ReactVision MCP to Claude, Cursor or Codex and ask it to render your model in a real environment, drop it into a ViroReact scene, and validate it on device.

GLB viewer questions, answered

How do I open a GLB file?
Drag the .glb file onto the viewer at the top of this page, or click it to choose the file. It opens in your browser in a few seconds, with no software to install. Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, and double-click to reset the view.
What is a GLB file?
A GLB file is a 3D model in the binary glTF 2.0 format. It stores the mesh, materials, textures and animations in a single file, which makes it the most common format for 3D on the web, in AR, and in game and XR engines.
Can I open a GLB file on iPhone or Android?
Yes. Open this page in Safari on iPhone or iPad, or in Chrome on Android, tap the viewer, and choose the .glb from your files. Drag to rotate and pinch to zoom.
Why does my GLB look dark or untextured?
Check that the textures were embedded when you exported the .glb, and that materials use the glTF metallic-roughness workflow. Exporters that write separate texture files produce a .gltf instead; open that with its files on the glTF viewer.
Is this viewer free?
Yes. The viewer is free, needs no account, and adds no watermark. It is built on the open-source ViroReact renderer, which is MIT licensed.
Is my model uploaded or stored?
No. The file is read by your browser and rendered on your device. It is never uploaded to ReactVision or anyone else, and it is gone when you close the page.
Which browsers and file sizes are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop and mobile, with WebGL2. Models up to 150 MB open, with PBR materials, textures and animations.
Can I see my model in AR or in a real room?
Yes, with a free ReactVision account. Environment rendering in the ReactVision Editor and the ReactVision MCP shows your model in real-world environments, and ViroReact puts it in AR on iOS and Android and in VR on Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro.
